Hellebore
I think these are Stinking Hellebore! Two different plants - two pics - but they seem to have different leaf structure.... one has fat leaves, the other thin...
Just appearing in local French woodlands - quite common in the village river valley.
Both were in the same stretch of woodland not far from each other. I'll go back during the week and walk in the opposite direction to look more carefully at the flowers and leaves, being not a BOTANIST!
The second one is Stinking Hellebore. The first one could be a hybrid of a Stinking with a hellebore in someone's garden.
